COVID FB Post 2020 12 3 Theory or Reality?
What If It Is a Theory and Not a Reality?
The Germ Theory of disease is the dominant paradigm of most of the world. We have been taught that dangerous microbes – bacteria, viru$e$, fungi, etc. – are the source of illness and death. Get a germ, take an anti-germ drug. The focus is on what is outside of the person rather than their own physical well-being.
What if it is a theory and not a reality?
This seems a lot like the sin and sacrifice paradigm in the time of Jesus. The religious leaders chose to ignore the truth that a lifestyle at odds with the fundamental law of love brings its own consequences, even if unseen. By focusing on outward appearances rather than character, the underlying nature of the individual, they misunderstood God and reality.
The alternative health paradigm today is the Terrain Theory of disease. This perspective on health shows us that microbes are not the first cause of disease. The health of the body is less controlled by external factors than by the health of the body. Health comes from meeting the body’s needs: nutrition (real food), water, rest, exercise, fresh air and sunlight, moderation in all things, and a good relationship with God and His Creation, people included.
In the Beatitudes, Jesus describes the character of the citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. In the rest of the Sermon on the Mount, He shows us this character living Kingdom of Heaven principles. He is teaching us that spiritual health, what is inside us, is the foundation for living in accordance with nature’s rules and finding peace, the Kingdom of Heaven, here and now.
The Terrain Theory tells us that when we neglect the body’s needs, we suffer the consequences of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, etc. The fact that “germs” play no part in causing these diseases, the primary causes of death, shows us that germs are not our primary health enemy, that they are the result of an already weakened defense.
As we suffer from these chronic diseases, we do become more vulnerable to germs. Our immune systems are overwhelmed and undernourished while dealing with these chronic conditions, and we are more vulnerable.
We have seen this in the C0VID crisis. The August CDC statement that only 6% of C0VID deaths did not also involve at least one of these chronic diseases was hastily withdrawn. But we have seen the truth in that statement from the beginning through the present. The March 17, 2020, report summarizing northern Italy’s C0VID cases showed 99.2% of deaths involved at least 1 comorbidity, and the average age of death was 80.
In other words, the vulnerable are those with compromised health, particularly the elderly. Areas with high population, high pollution, older individuals, and high rates of chronic disease have been the hardest hit.
Amazingly, the governors of California, Michigan, New Jersey, and New York were among those states that raised the death rates of their elderly population by REQUIRING nursing homes to accept C0VID patients.
And everyone else was forced into lockdown while the most vulnerable forcibly were exposed to C0VID diagnosed patients!
Now the vaccine – or the 6 vaccines or however many – that we were promised (to save us from what, ourselves?) is near. And the goalposts for the vaccine have been moved to simply reducing symptoms rather than avoiding infection, per The Fauci. Also see the Forbes article saying we should follow the example of China. That is a good idea: let’s do what China did and change the definition. Let’s follow their example and require symptoms. This will reduce “cases” down to their level!
Our unelected medical command has misunderstood the elements that constitute health and disease.
We cannot offer sacrifices in order to achieve spiritual health.
We cannot medicate – or supplement – the way to good physical health. In a crisis, a good hospital is a lifesaver. For chronic conditions, how well does the germ theory work when we are suffering from self-imposed malnutrition and toxicity?
