ABOUT BEING MALE
"About being male" is just that.
Let's face it. Men and women are different. Although there are great overlaps, the male and the female of our species have different attributes beyond the obvious physical differences. Following are some other differences, based on scientific observations. These are probably not surprising (source WebMD). (NOTE: these are generalities, not absolutes.)
The Creation story tells of woman having been made from man, a portion of the male removed to create the female. This tells us that we are each incomplete in some way.
We must grant equality as people to both sexes, but being equal does not require that we be identical.
Masculinity is a part of the male identity, just as femininity is part of the female identity. We each need to celebrate our strengths as individuals and allow the other to balance our weaknesses.
